- Carefully read the Application before completing it.
- You must attach a copy of your Traffic Camera citation.
- As your appeal is a civil matter, you will have the burden of proof by a preponderance of the evidence at the trial in this matter. You must have all of your evidence and witnesses present at the trial and any evidence should be in a format that may be retained by the Court.
- Your case will be set for a pre-trial hearing and a trial. The pre-trial will be an opportunity for you to discuss your case with the attorney for the Village before having a trial.
- If you contend that you were not operating the vehicle at issue at the time of the citation, this is a matter you must submit to the Village in accordance with the instructions set forth in the citation.
- Failure to attend the pre-trial or trial will result in the dismissal of your appeal.
- You have 30 days from the date of the Traffic Camera citation to file an appeal with the Stow Municipal Court.
- You may file your appeal in person at the Stow Municipal Court Civil Department, 4400 Courthouse Boulevard, Stow, Ohio 44224.
- You may mail your appeal to the Stow Municipal Court Civil Department, 4400 Courthouse Boulevard, Stow, Ohio 44224. Be sure to include the completed appeal form and a copy of the Traffic Camera citation.
- The court will contact you to schedule your pre-trial date and your trial date.
